Antheia Arabians

A haven for Arabian horses in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley

Named after Antheia, one of the Graces in Greek mythology, a goddess of
flowers, blossoms, gardens and human love and friendship, we are a small boutique Arabian horse breeding program located in the heart of the magnificent Santa Ynez Valley in California. Our farm is a peaceful, harmonious, flower filled paradise providing the most relaxing, tranquil, environment for the beautiful Arabian horses who call it home.

Our Arabian horses honor their desert heritage with their stunning type, fiery charisma, gentle dispositions and sound trainable minds. They are intelligent, kind, people loving companions of the very highest quality.

Our philosophy is to produce happy, beautiful athletes who are good citizens and superlative ambassadors for the Arabian horse. Our horses to live outside in their large, lush, green fields in family herds with varying age ranges. They have plenty of room to run, play, stretch their legs and be horses. The stallions spend all day outside in their grass stallion paddocks and come in to the barn in the evening. Our beautifully designed barn is light and spacious with roomy stalls. Every horse can touch, see and smell its neighbors.

As part of their education our horses are started under saddle and are ridden weekly. This provides both mental & physical stimulation and the safe environment to bond with humans and learn life skills.

Our horses are our treasures. With our holistic approach to horse care they are loved and treated as the unique individuals they are, allowing for their personalities to shine and with their specific needs and wants catered to. Our tranquil oasis provides a luxurious, relaxing environment for our horses ensuring they live stress free, relaxed lives in peace and harmony with their surroundings.

Our animals are of sacred importance to us, so we were fortunate to be able to have our beautiful mare, Gloria Apal blessed at St. Mark's-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church in Los Olivos.
